Returns and Exchange Policy

Summary of Return Policy

  • You have 10 days from the delivery date to initiate your complimentary return to original form of payment or a different variation of the same item.
  • We will provide an insured, prepaid label. Once the label is generated, you have 5 days to have your package scanned at a local FedEx location.
  • Upon receipt of your return, we will inspect your item within 10 business days to ensure it adheres to our guidelines listed under our Return and Exchange Approval Section.
  • Merchandise tag must be attached, unaltered and the item must be in brand new, unworn, salable condition.
  • Final sale items include: personalized pieces, bridal, non-jewelry accessories or items otherwise marked on the product page.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Returns and exchanges are valid for orders placed within the US only.

  • Please allow 10 days for a refund to be completed.

Store Returns

Reuven Gitter Jewelers offers returns on most Fine Jewelry purchased in store or online within 10 days of the purchase or date of delivery. Custom Jewelry, Bridal Jewelry, Sized Jewelry, Engraved Jewelry, and other items are not returnable.

Exclusions

Bridal, personalized pieces (including engravables), sale items that have been permanently marked down, and select made to order pieces are final sale with no exceptions. All custom orders, as well as pre-orders, are final sale. Items that are considered final sale will be clearly marked.

Orders sent back to RG without approval are subject to additional fees and the order may be returned at the customer’s expense.

Exchange for Different Size/Color

Be sure to look at the lead time when initiating an exchange. We do not reserve inventory for exchanges. Please note that lead times on made to order pieces will not begin until we process your exchange. If your exchange item does not adhere to our guidelines listed below, RC reserves the right to deny an exchange and ship the item back, at the customer’s expense.

Warranty

All pieces from Reuven Gitter Jewelers are inspected for quality and craftmanship prior to shipping. RG does not carry a warranty policy. However, in the unlikely event of a manufacturing issue RG will issue a full refund or exchange. External damage is not a result of manufacturing.

Repair/Replace

Most jewelry is repairable. Should an accident occur with any piece, please contact us via the website. If you are in need of a replacement for piece that is no longer available on in store or on the website RG is able to custom make most pieces. For earring matching, diamond stud matching, contact us.

Eligibility/Guidelines

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be returned from within the United States. All pieces that are eligible for a return or exchange must be sent with all tags attached, unaltered and the item must be in brand new, unworn, salable condition.

Shipping

Our insured FedEx shipping label must be used and the item must be sent back within 5 days of initiating your exchange. If an order is sent to us using an alternate shipping service, we will not accept liability and cannot be held responsible for lost packages, as a result.

We kindly request that your exchange be sent back to us secured in the original packaging it arrived in. Please do not use any large or oversized boxes as this will increase the shipping costs. Should Reuven Gitter Jewelers incur additional fees due to large packaging, this may be collected from the customer.

Approval

For your return to be approved, you must adhere to our conditions below. RG reserves the right not to accept an item if any of the below conditions are not met, and the item will be sent back at the customer’s expense.

  • Your item must be sent with all tags attached, unaltered and the item must be in brand new, unworn, salable condition
  • All of our RG pieces come with a merchandise tag and the merchandise tag must be attached and unaltered in any way

Return Process Steps

Please follow the below instructions:

  • Contact us via the website. Provide your name, phone number, e-mail, and order info. We are able to process returns Tuesday through Friday. US holidays we might be unavailable. You can still start the return/exchange.
  • Once received, our team will inspect your return within 10 business days and if approved, your refund will be processed (please allow up to 10 business days to see this in your account), send out your new product, or put your item into production.
